Our story

Confidence grows when women have room to learn.

Why I started

It began with frustration—and one working ceiling fan.

I kept paying premium prices for home repairs, then looking at the finished work and thinking, “This looks like something I could have done myself.” I did not lack ability. I lacked a place to learn.

So I picked up tools I had never touched, made mistakes, and tried again. My first ceiling fan took three tries and a YouTube tutorial on repeat. When I flipped the switch and it worked, I felt unstoppable.

“If a contractor can do it, I can learn to do it too.”

That confidence became the beginning of She Builds & Shares—a place where women can learn, ask questions, share what they know, and grow without having to build alone.

What we believe

Capability can be learned.

Confidence does not have to come before the first try. It grows because we try, learn, and try again.

Money should feel understandable.

Real estate, investing, and financial wellness should be discussed clearly, honestly, and without intimidation.

Community makes courage easier.

Women bring different experiences and strengths. When those are shared, everyone has more room to grow.
